Oh, this wedding. The details. The design. The tattoos. The venue. The Fisher's caramel popcorn. I'm in love. Emily & Tim got married at Leiter's Downtown in Hagerstown, MD, a darling historic venue in my hometown.
Now, I could've smacked myself in the forehead when I figured out that's where the wedding was because in my mind, it's still Duffy's on Potomac. But the good people of Leiter's Catering snatched up the premium space in historic Hagerstown just across from the Maryland Theater. And should you still be in the market for a gorgeous venue, this one has buttery hardwood floors, wrought-iron chandeliers, an enormous window that swallows the room in delicious golden sunlight, and enough vintage charm to make any bride swoon.
Emily & Tim got married under an altar of gold and cream ribbons, surrounded by family, friends, and Old Hollywood allure. Guests munched on the aforementioned caramel popcorn and cocktails at AVA's while we did a little outdoor shooting. Emily even invited her hairdresser to the wedding, a genius move I think all brides ought to follow from here on out. I mean really, you need a professional when you're dealing with hair and heat and clips and gel.
Enjoy the sneak peak, kids. I wish you all the happiness you can handle and then some.
Many thanks to Sarah Burns for having me as as second shooter!
