If this wedding sets the tone for the rest of the season, then it's going to be a delightful one. Jennifer and Jeremy got married in Brunswick, MD on the most gorgeous of springtime days and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it. Jennifer is very no-nonsense in the way only a mother of two boys can be, giving to-the-point directions and crystal clear instructions on where everyone ought to be and when. I totally dig her no-fuss mentality because it helps me get things done on a wedding day - she is a little bit bossy in the best way.
And then there's her Jeremy. You can always pick out the groom upon arrival, not because he's wearing a different colored vest, but because he's the one wearing the sly grin of a man in love, a man about to say "yes" to everything he's ever waited for. It was on his face all day long - when he saw Jennifer for the first time before the ceremony, when his buddies jabbed him in the ribs, and when their children stood at the front of the altar with the two of them, promising to be a family forever.
Thanks for having me at your lovely, family-filled wedding. Thanks for laughing at my stupid jokes and for letting me show off some terrible dance moves at your reception. Also, whoever made the cake pops and white chocolate toffee popcorn is alright in my book. Enjoy the sneak peak, ya'll!
