Now prior to this session, I didn't know Matt very well. I mean, I know his Mama because she works with my Mama, and I can tell you that good children come from good parents. Cheryl is, like, really good. I mean, so good that she volunteered to hand-dip 150 strawberries for my wedding. And she made all the table numbers and a short time later, a towering cake make completely of diapers for my baby shower. So knowing how nice she is, it's easy to see how her baby boy is so nice, too.
I know Matt's not a baby. But he's Cheryl's baby and he's about to graduate from high school. Although it's weird to tell you that because obviously, he's already doing big things. Like spending the entire summer in basic training without so much as a text message from back home. And he's going to college to match brains to his brawn and people - he dates an older woman. I mean, only a year older, but older. Fist-bump, Matt. Fist-bump.
[Insert Hallmark-style sentiments about graduation here.]
And many thanks to the folks behind the absolutely gorgeous Plumb Grove Mansion for letting me traipse all over your beautiful property for another photo session.
