The images we made were absolutely stunning. And you guys, there is some not-so-great boudoir sessions out there, so I knew if I was gonna do it, I was gonna do it right. It wasn't gonna be cheesy or trashy and, above everything else, I knew my clients would have to be comfortable for this type of session. Boudoir sessions are a perfect way to get cozy in your own skin, as a steamy surprise for your husband, a gift for your wedding day, just because it's a Tuesday and you need to feel fabulous...
So here's a breakdown of the most common questions I get regarding boudoir sessions and how you can make the most of it.
Turn it up.
Where do we do it?
Your house. My house. A fancy hotel. Anywhere that has plenty of privacy, a big bed, and great light.
What's it like?
It's physically impossibly for me to be serious for more than .008 seconds, so you can count on your session being just like any other - relaxed, fun, social, and enjoyable. At my last session, we drank a little wine and laughed our heads off.
Isn't it weird? I'll be, like, kinda naked.
You know, I thought this, too. I expected it to be totally bizarre to be hanging out in our all-together. But it's not. It's a chance for you to feel beautiful and glamorous and sexy. I feel more awkward in the gym locker room (I don't care what you say, walking around stark-naked while deciding if you're going to hit the sauna or not isn't cool).
I can take my shirt off if it makes you feel better.
Can we wait until I lose 20 pounds first?
Well you caaaaaan, but I think now is a good a time as any. It's your confidence that comes through in the image, not your rock solid abs or perfect bum. Nobody has that, anyway. Some of the most fabulous women I've ever photographed were not a size 2 and they owned that session like nobody's business. Absolutely gorgeous.
What do I wear?
Whatever makes you feel comfortable, sexy, and gorgeous. Some girls prefer lingerie, a loose/draping sweater, vintage pin-up girl styling, or just a bed sheet. Rawr.
What if I don't want to have any pictures online?
Every woman is different and some are more comfortable than others when it comes to sharing images. Because boudoir sessions are so intimate, I completely respect each woman's decision to share or not to share any previews on my blog, Facebook page, or website.
How much does it cost?
Each boudoir session is $200 and 60 minutes long. You can have as many outfit changes as you'd like and, if you happen to bring along a bottle of Riesling, your session might be longer on account of my sipping.
How many images will I get?
Each session is different and it depends on how many outfit changes you choose, but you can expect an average of 75-125 images for a one-hour session.
How can I book you?
You can e-mail me or send me a private message through my Facebook page.
